The Industrial Revolution first started in Great Britain because it had all the ready resources to make it happen, unlike France, who had a large majority increase in population in comparison to Britain, they had the technology and ideas to produce such a important and revolutionary era. For example, Britain had all means of transport ready, such as rivers and dirt roads, to move goods and people around. They also had a booming economy.
