Why was everyone not just required to choose their employee computing ID?
This would have upset a lot of people. About 75% of those affected chose their student computing ids. On the other hand, it wasn’t feasible to require everyone to chose their student computing id. It was really important for some people with administrative access to the university’s business systems to choose their employee computing id.
