Why was Couty Alexander booked on a charge of second degree murder?
Couty Alexander called 911 at 5:51am on Sunday June 29th, telling dispatchers that he returned home to find his wife dead. He later confessed that he had shot her in the back of the head while she was getting clothes from her closet. It is believed that he shot her BEFORE going to work as an EMT waiting until after his shift to report her death. Alexander had recently finished paramedic school, and he and his wife Christa were expecting their first child in December. The investigation is ongoing.
