Why Was An Item In The Auction Extended Past The Closing Time?

A. This is an automatic feature of our software that overcomes “Bid Sniping”. Bid Sniping is forbidden. If someone waits until the last couple of minutes to send in a bid the software extends the auction for several minutes in order to give previous bidders enough time to respond. This feature makes it fair for everyone. If there are no further bids within the next several minutes the auction will automatically close for that item.
