Why was an employee referred for a Vocational Assessment?
People who may not be returning to their old jobs or who are simply looking at alternate career paths, need to understand the skills and aptitudes they possess, either from their work history education or abilities. This information is often combined with a Transferability of Skills Analysis to let them know about compatible job options that they can examine for a job search or simply for their own career information. If an employee is not certain of the jobs that they can safely perform, a Functional Capacity Evaluation can be performed to determine safe work levels for an alternate job selection. At the request of the referral source, all of this information can be combined in a report to assist with safe and dependable return-to-work options.
