The SCCO cannot speculate as to why no other pleadings were filed by the Plaintiff or why a Plaintiff has not dismissed the case. The defendant may contact the Plaintiff’s attorney to discuss their concerns regarding these matters. If a defendant feels he has special circumstances that might warrant the dismissal of the case, he should discuss this matter with an attorney who can help him evaluate his options.
