Vernacular Technologies & Techniques’s (VT&T) division of Recycled & Reused Computers was in existence for 3 years. Recycled & Reused Computers during that period • acquired, rebuilt, upgraded and made available for sale some 100 machines. • designed and developed computer flea markets for school benefit functions. • held seminars and other educational forums to help keep computer systems out of the landfill. • designed and developed the The Still-Useful Computer International Expo: Internet Edition for allowing the resale of still-useful computers to developing countries over the Internet. • designed and developed the Weekend Bicycling for Computer Recycling program in VT. This experience allows VT&T to understand the entire business of recyled and reused computers from sourcing to selling. VT&T is well positioned to lend its experience of this business to the Recycled & Reused Computers Cooperative.
