Why VALUES AND ETHICS LECTURES?
Delta Gamma, as an organization, has always been interested in promoting character development and a sense of social responsibility within each chapter member. These qualities are at a premium in today’s challenging times. By funding this Lectureship, we share with the University our Fraternity’s sense of responsibility and dedication to exploring values and ethics. Our goal is to further educate students and the community on the value and importance of ethical conduct in their personal and professional lives. Personal honesty, codes of conduct and individual responsibility will be emphasized within the context of each presentation. Each lecture will also allow for a question and answer time with the presenter. Delta Gamma and Mississippi State will create a committee of students, alumnus, staff, and faculty members to determine the speakers, topics and event dates. How will ENDOWMENT FUNDS BE MANAGED? Expenses associated with the lectureship will be covered by interest earned annually
