Why utilize a domestic service provider vs. going off-shore?
Many times companies cannot afford the long turn around/shipping times and costs associated with an off-shore vendor. Typically your low volume, high mix of product do not fit the off-shore mold of mainstream, high volume production. In fact most Military, Aerospace and some Medical products require manufacturing and test content be largely processed in the US, thus precluding the off-shore option.
