Why use wool covers??
Wool covers are breathable and environmentally friendly. This makes it the perfect material to use for babies with sensitive skin. Clean, lanolized wool covers will absorb 30% of their weight in moisture before they feel wet. The lanolin on the wool interacts with the ammonia in urine to form a soap, making the wool covers self-cleaning. This means that you don’t need to wash them every day. Just hang them out to air dry and about once a week hand wash them in a lanolin rich soap, wool wash or use a lanolin spray.
