Why use the new mapping tool to locate my study sites?

This is the most precise way of determining the lat/long of your study site, but it requires you to have a newer browser (view browser requirements). The mapping program will allow you to zoom into the location of your study site on a topographic map or aerial photograph by selecting your state or Delorme Atlas page. Step-by-step instructions are provided that will enable you to mark the precise location of your survey point and have the lat/long automatically downloaded into the project database.
