Why use the bible to justify homophobia?

I think the homophobia is a smokescreen to cover adulterous behavior in themselves… in many of them, anyhow. Every Christian who divorced for any cause other than adultery and remarries is an adulterer – according to their own Jesus Christ directly – not through Paul or some other source. Jesus specifically said that remarriages when adultery was not the cause for divorce are adulterous, and these Christians are living in constant sin every day of their lives. And according to their own beliefs, as unrepentant adulterers, they will not go to heaven. Adultery is one of the big 10 no nos, and a cause Jesus personally took up, and a “sin” which about half the Christians today are committing every day they live, according to their own bibles. Gays are a welcome distraction from their own “sins”, no doubt.
