Why use Sprayfoam?

0

Research shows 40% of heat loss in a house or building can be attributed to air leakage conducted through the building envelope. Sprayfoam is applied as a liquid and then expands 20-30 times it’s original liquid size. It expands to seal all cracks and gaps forming a barrier against air infiltration unlike fibreglass. By creating a sealed air barrier and eliminating air exfiltration, foam does not allow for wall condensation, which would lead to mold, mildew, and wall damage within the structure. Initial cost is higher than fibreglass but the heating and cooling costs over a short period of time will easily make up for it.
