Why Use SpectraSan 24 vs. Bleach + Water?
Bleach is toxic and extremely dangerous if mishandled. Tremendous care must be taken when mixing a bleach water dilution and protective gear must be worn. Bleach will discolor fabrics and other materials so special care is required. The area must be well ventilated to avoid inhaling the toxic fumes emitted when using bleach. Any contact with the area being disinfected must also be avoided until the bleach has had enough time to disinfect (at least 10 minutes).
