WHY USE SAXON MATH BOOKS?
My wife and I just returned from attending homeschool conventions in both Cincinnati, Ohio and Kansas City, Missouri. Both of us really enjoyed visiting with homeschool families from more than a dozen different states who stopped by our booth. While at each of the two conventions, I also had the opportunity to address homeschool educators in several workshop seminars. The title of today’s news article was the title of my seminars. What I wanted to convey to homeschool educators at the seminars was factual information on why John Saxon’s math books – when properly used – remain the best math curriculum for mastery of mathematics on the market today. Why did I emphasize “when properly used”? Improper use of John’s math books is one of the weaknesses of his books.
