Why use Pond Clear?
Pond Clear promotes and stimulates rapid growth of natural micro-organisms leading to degradation of organic sludge/silt. The mineralisation of such compounds leads to the release of mineral salts into the water which in turn assists in stimulating growth of water plants, algae flora, macrophites and aerobic micro-organisms which, with light, increase the production of dissolved oxygen in the water. Pond Clear contains natural shells of organisms of foraminifera, coccoliths and rhabdoliths. During the mineralisations of the silt calcium ions are released, and are available as essential nutrients for all pondlife from micro-organisms to fish.
