Why use magnets in far infrared clothing and bands?
The use of magnets for arthritic pain has, until recently, been treated with scepticism. However, recent studies have been more positive towards their use. These include a placebo-controlled trial (Altrn Ther Health Med. 2004 Mar-Apr; 10 (2):36-43) wherein patients with osteoarthritis of the knee had significantly less pain after six weeks than the placebo group. Similarly, another double blind clinical study reported similar findings in Alter Ther Health Med. 2001 Sep-Oct; 7 (5): 54-64, 66-69. Therefore, we believe that the combined characteristics of both our far infrared bands and magnet therapy will relieve suffering for those who have chronic pain in their lower back and shoulders.
