JBoss is a very powerful open source J2EE server. It includes clustering and was the first to support hot deployment. It continues to provide leading-edge features such as JBoss.Net (easily deployed web services), network booting of clustered servers, and Aspect Oriented Programming. It also uses much less memory than most commercial J2EE servers because of its microkernel architecture.
