Why use freeze-dry & dehydrated foods over canned foods?
Dehydrated foods are top quality foods. When the food is at its freshest and ripest state, it is placed in sophisticated dehydrators and canning systems. This process removes 98% of the water, leaving all of the taste and nutritional value within the food. As a result, the shelf life is also extended to 15 years and longer. Canned foods on the other hand are pre-cooked, and packaged in a manner that removes certain nutritional qualities and offers only a 1-year shelf life.
