Why use Enfamil Prosobee?
Enfamil Prosobee is a soy based formula for babies who are sensitive to milk formula. It is 100% dairy free, and is easier to digest than regular milk based formula. Many pediatricians recommend soy formula when babies are crying or fussing during/after feedings, or for babies who have been ill and have diarrhea, because the soy is easier for them to digest until they are back to normal. Some women also choose soy formula voluntarily because they prefer not to give their child an animal based formula (for example, they are a vegan family). What’s Prosobee made of? Prosobee is soy protein based. It contains no milk/dairy products. Also, instead of having lactose as its main carbohydrate, it has corn syrup solids.
