Why use an online designer versus a retail or showroom designer?
Most kitchen design showrooms, and some big box stores, require a design fee in order to start work on your kitchen design. This fee is considered a deposit on your cabinets, so, the client feels obligated to buy from that store. It could be that as you get into the process, you find that you’re not happy with the design and/or that you don’t click with that particular designer. KDOL allows you to come up with a great design so that you are able to have the freedom to get your kitchen priced anywhere and to choose which company you would like to work with. It could be that your budget only allows you to buy inexpensive cabinets. Typically, stores that carry these kinds of cabinets don’t have designers on staff with the level of experience to satisfy your design needs.
