Why use an automated self-report tool for health assessment?
The patient has much of the information needed by medical staff to provide effective, efficient, high quality care. Health information needed to provide evidenced-based clinical services, such as those recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) or of special interest in this population is gathered by presenting standard, widely-accepted questions to an employee which then can be scored, interpreted, and reported automatically, allowing for targeted interventions to those with the greatest needs and potential benefit. Educational information is immediately provided to the patient and reports are available for them to share with their primary care provider.
