Why Use Aeronautical Solution?
Aeronautical Solution combines cartographic editing tools, database models, aeronautical symbols and styles, and workflow management components to enable a streamlined chart production environment. Because the system is completely database-driven, data is truly “one-touch.” Features that exist on multiple charts or products exist as one collection of objects in the database, instead of stand-alone graphics, as is the case with most existing systems. Whether the user has an automated data feed or is building charting data with the PLTS for ArcGIS editing tools, the process contains quality control and work efficiency tools to make the process of creating complex aeronautical charts straightforward. Additionally, Aeronautical Solution is configured to load Aeronautical Information eXchange Model (AIXM), the new XML standard for aeronautical data exchange.
