Why use a RC helicopter instead of a full sized aircraft?
The number one reason is cost, we are a fraction of the cost of a full sized helicopter and photographer also, our RC helicopter can operate in areas that wouldn’t physically accommodate a full size helicopter. Most of the photos we take would be unavailable to a full sized aircraft due to full sized aircraft being restricted by the FAA to fly no lower that 1000′ over congested areas and 500′ in non-congested areas.
