Why Use a Bike Rack?
Bicycle racks are gaining more popularity in homes as a tool for organizing bikes and bike equipment. Originally, a bike rack is a device that a bike can securely attach to so that no one will be able to steal the bike, such as in a public park or school. These public bike racks are securely attached to the ground or a building so no one is able to remove the bike rack from the area. There are several types of bike racks that are used in public places. One of them is the “wheel benders” in which one wheel of the bike is secured to the metal rack. Although “wheel benders” are able to store many bikes at an area in one time, they aren’t the most effective in keeping bikes secure from thieves since the secured bike wheel can be detached from the rest of the bike to be taken.
