Why University of Toronto?

0

Each year at the end of the conference a bidding process is held, where every university fights for being the CUMC host the following year. Students from their univerisity have an opportunity to make a presentation on exactly why their institution must be the next host. The presentations are then followed by an election, where each university has one vote to choose the best university for the job. At the end of the 2007 conference, held by the Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, University of Toronto had won the election process to become the home of 2008 Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference.
