An SMS aggregator is a mobile telecom company that has multiple agreements with operators to send and receive data into and out of the operator’s SMS-Centre. Aggregators lack direct access into the SS7 protocol. These providers have no visibility and control over the message delivery, being unable to offer delivery guarantees. TynTec, unlike SMS aggregators, does not connect to operators’ SMSCs to send SMS. The company has its own SS7-connected SMS-C’s and has its own TynTec Global Titles as well as own international signaling point code. This gives TynTec the same messaging capabilities as a mobile network operator and enables the offering of greater speed, reliability and measurability.
