Why trim split ends?
Well split ends usually occur on hair that has been snapped or broken from yanking a comb through tangled hairs, using mega hot heat appliances, or using too many chemicals, such as perms and dye. Too much contact with these things can strip protective layers off the outside of the hair shaft and that will weaken the hair Thats what can make the ends of your hair look frizzy and unkempt. The problem with leaving the split ends is that each split will extend up your hair shaft and eventually the un-healthy hair will break off. In the worst case, youd be left with uneven, dry, unmanageable hair. Trimming them when they are barely there is the best thing to do, also cutting down on use of heat appliances helps to stop them emerging. Back to the list.
