Transport.The living organisms, different processes are involved in the transport of substance into the cells and removal of the wastes out of the cells. There is an elaborate mechanism not only for the movement of individual molecules but also their mass transport within bodies. The processes involved for taking materials in an out of the cells are diffusion, facilitated diffusion, osmosis, active transport, endocytosis, exocytosis etc. In animals, the material move into, within and out of the body in respiratory, circulatory, digestive and excretory system while in plants the materials move, into within and out of the body during processes of respiration, transportation, photosynthesis, absorption by roots, conduction of water, and the nutrients.
