To optimize performance of vehicles traveling on SuperStreets the flange groove on the Roadway is wider on curved roadway pieces than on straight roadway. SuperStreets Roadway includes three 2.5 inch straight pieces with different width flange grooves to maintain optimal performance. The 6-22566 2.5″ Straight to Straight Connector has the narrow grooves of all straight Roadways. The 6-21282 Curve to Curve Connector has the wider flange groove of the Roadway curves which allows for creation of broader sweeping curves. The 6-21261 Straight to Curve Connector tapers the flange groove from one type of Roadway to the other in ensure smooth travel and eliminate possible ‘derailments’.
