You should be aware, however, that sometimes the abortions caused by Cytotec do not evacuate all of the fetal materials, which can cause bleeding or infection down the line. If you have an abortion with Cytotec, and you continue to have bleeding or painful cramping, or if you develop a fever, see your OB/Gyn or go to the nearest ER immediately for evaluation.
