Why there is no manned trips to the moon anymore; despite the advances in the technology?
Excellent question, we seem to have hit a peak and stepped back. We used to have faster than sound commercial flights too … but Concorde is in a museum with no replacement in sight. It would appear that the more the PC brigade, the health and safety idiots and the accountants take hold of society the less inclined we are to explore and move forward. For millions of years mankind has strived to invent and evolve, we’ve taken risks … sometimes we’ve crashed and burned, but we always advanced as a race. It’s only in the last 50 or so years that we’ve stopped. The vitality that took us to the moon has been replaced by people who are sure we never went there in the first place, People who say the cost is too much … people with no bloody guts or imagination. You have to wonder where we’ll be in a couple of hundred years from now.
