Why there can be differences between device and Movescount values?
Movescount analyzes various performance values from measured data. These are for example Training effect, calories, Epoc. The values might differ from those that your device is showing or what you might have seen in other software. The main reason for this is that Movescount uses the latest algorithms that Suunto has been produced. The physiological models concerning exercise are improving along with the latest knowledge making the calculations more precise. The algorithms are also able to utilize more processing power in computer than what is available in device so these should be closer to the truth. We are continuously developing and tuning the algorithms, so there might be new improvements also in the future.
