Why the Solex Attic Fan?
“The Solex Attic Fan is powered by a 20-watt Mono crystalline photovoltaic panel. Most solar attic fans on the market use any 10-watt panel offered and attempt to do do what we do with multiple fans, it simply doesn’t work that way. We discovered some 12 years ago that it’s not the volume of air you can vaccuum on a whole, it’s the impact the sun has on each fan, and the restrictions soffit ventilation has to offer. 10 watt fans simply can’t move enough air, regardless of how many you put up there. Eventually the heat will catch up. Our fans and panels are both matched and tuned and will operate better, longer and through far more adverse conditions then any fan in the business.
