Why the size of the output FLV file is much larger than the original SWF file?
The SWF and FLV are totally different two formats. They differ greatly on how to express the video information. Just take the sentence “The sun cycles from east to west with endlessness” as example: If expressed in SWF file, only the above sentence can fully express it. But expressed in FLV format, it needs to capture every frame during the sun moving , and as the above sentence mentioned “cycle with endlessness”, if it does’t stop capturing, the size of the FLV file can be infinite. That’s to say, SWF files express information in descriptive script, while FLV files express information in series frames of the video.
