Why the price hike from last year?
While we would love to keep prices as low as possible, costs in general have gone up. Firstly, food prices have gone up due to the drought (and now floods as well). Secondly, inflation increases the prices marginally every year. Tickets for members were $65 in 2005 and $70 in 2006 so we are keeping with the trend. When compared with the price of other balls that will be occurring soon, the price is still very reasonable. Finally, we have moved to a much larger, more opulent venue in order to host a bigger and better ball than last year.
