There is alot of extremism in the Middle East. While some of its moderate leaders may wish to help the Palestinians, they risk an uprising within their countries if they do attempt to help. Other countries have radical leaders that do not care about the Palestinians at all. The countries that do not care at all are Iran, Syria, Qatar and Mauritania. They will easily kill a Palestinian if it would further their hatred against Israel and the West. They basically just use them as pawns to further their cause. Syria was one of the original countries to develop the Palestinian cause and set this Arab people apart from the rest of the Middle Eastern countries. They orphaned them and virtually left them on Israel’s doorstep. Syria’s intention then, as it is now, was to overthrow both Israel and Jordan.
