The New York Knicks are in the driver seat to land two maximum-contract free agents. This was made possible by the Teams recent cap room-clearing moves, freeing up much needed space to possibly sign two of the games most outstanding players, in Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. They cleared up this cap room by getting rid of local crowd favorites, such as Jared Jeffries, Nate Robinson, and promising young talent, Jordan Hill. It is not far fetch to think that Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers could end up playing for the Knicks. The Superstar point-forward is in the last year of his $24.8 Million a year contract with the Lakers.
