The new born mammals body contain a large proportion of Brown adipose tissue, this brown adipose tissue mainly contain a high proportion of fat globule and also a number of mitochondria within it. Both of these fat globule and mitochondria contain a lot of energy within it which provides sufficient body heat to the baby therefore it do not shiver.
