WHY THE NAME COWBOYS SWEETHEART FILMS?
“This film company’s name was inspired by one of my film projects, THE WISDOM YEARS, during an interview of an 82 year old woman in Texas who over-came her bout with cancer. This elder disclosed the fact her doctor had given up on her recovery stating he had done all he could do. Furthermore, if she survived, she would never sing again. . . . During the filming, this remarkable woman, surprised us by choosing to perform . . . the first time in public after 15 years! She sang, yodeled and played the guitar! I observed family and friends, in tears, as they witnessed their love one break through her barriers. The song, this courageous and determined woman sang was, “I WANNA BE A COWBOY’S SWEETHEART”.
