Why the name change to Swedish Auto Parts?
The main reason that we changed our name from “thevolvosite.com to Swedish Auto Parts is because we wanted to remain in good standing with Volvo AB regarding their trademark word “Volvo”. In actuality we had this domain name registered many years ago and planned on moving to this domain name at some point anyway. We also own thesaabsite.com so the name Swedish Auto Parts fits both of our Swedish lines well. We want to be clear here that were in no way forced to do this nor did we have any issues with Volvo. This was a corporate decision.
