Why the methane gas is more responsible for global warming comparing with CO2 gas ?

Methane traps more heat but there’s a lot more CO2 and the higher concentration of CO2 wins out in the end such that CO2 is the dominant gas causing global warming with CH4 being the second biggest source (the increased temperature from global warming also increase water vapour concentration causing even more warming). CFC’s are very potent greenhouse gases but aren’t doing much when it comes to global warming because the concentration of them in the atmosphere is very low (enough to severely damage the ozone layer, but not enough to be a significant cause of global warming).
