Why the lost gospels in Quomran not included in the bible?
Both the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Bible were a collection of writings by many different authors. It wasn’t until the 4th century when both Bibles were canonized — accepting some writings and rejecting others. The Christian Bible includes the book of Revelation while the Hebrew Bible does not. The same goes for the Christian Bible. The Church hierarchy decided which writings would be included and which writings would be rejected. The Qumran scrolls were not exactly alike — there were differences in times, locations, etc. Someone had to decide which scroll was correct. Many writings in both the Hebrew and Christian Bibles have different versions of the same stories. There are two creation stories — was Eve created from a rib or were they both created from dust? There are also different versions of who was the first to see Jesus after he arose from the dead. .
