Why the Indian companies in particular?

More and more acquisitions will be made in the auto supply business and elsewhere by Indian companies because many have capital, or access to capital, to do significant deals. I see some Chinese acquisitions too, but a lot of the play will come from India. They’re comfortable with the English language. It’s the common bond across their different units, languages and ethnic groups. India also has a great history of technical and financial skills, involved in commerce and trading. And there is an affection, affinity and respect for the U.S., with so many Indians having been schooled here, with friends or family in the U.S., and many families now sending their children to school here.
