Why the huge difference in price between the Chinese products and the major brand?
Im giving away my age but I can remember when the major brands were new to the US and sold at prices even less expensive than the Chinese products are now. Until the Chinese products gain product recognition the price will be lower, but in a few years the prices will increase to levels near that of the now major brands. The products we import are high quality and very close to if not as good as Yamaha. The only real problem is that when buyers pay so much less to purchase our products theyre unwilling to invest part of the huge savings to maintain the vehicle, as they would if they had purchased a major brand name. It seems like higher purchase prices convince everyone to maintain their vehicles much better.
