Why The Hindu did not carry the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on the first page?
Not sure, but he was a great man and loved all humans and asked for peace. He was a hindu himself, and they all loved him for who he was. Even though he was a non-Muslim, many of the Muslims had a high respect for him as well because of what he was trying to do which was unite the people and keep them safe from all the hurtfulness they were afflicting on one another at the time. He was an essential aspect of what was going on, and he could help them all in many ways. Since alll of this, it eventually turned out that India was broken up so all the Muslims ( generalization ) moved into a seperate part which was Pakistan, and the majority of hindus stayed in India. So , that way both sides would be equal and get their way. It was very important to know about all of this, because the two cofuntries still subside today. This is what went on. Thanks for your time.
