Why the F-Secure Automatic Update Agent is not downloading any virus definition database updates?
This applies to all the versions of F-Secure Internet Gatekeeper. Select the Received Packages tab in the F-Secure Automatic Update Agent window and check that no virus definitions update packages are listed in there. Select the Channel Status page in the F-Secure Automatic Update Agent. If the Channel Name and Channel Address fields are empty, the client has not yet connected to F-Secure Automatic Update server. Make sure that your Internet connection is working, and if the Current Status is Ready, click Connect Now to force the client to connect to the server immediately. Downloading the virus definitions database update for the first time can take a while if you have a lot of other Internet traffic open at the same time. If the client cannot connect to the server, make sure that your browser can access the Internet. Open your browser and connect to http://fsbwserver.f-secure.com/.
