Answer Hi Jim, Great question. I don’t see it as a discrepancy. It doesn’t have to be exact. A Lunar Eclipse happens when the full Moon is close (but not necessarily partile, which is to say an aspect of the same degree) to one of the Moon’s Nodes. It can even be an out of sign connection, as we have here. The Earth passing between the Sun and Moon causes the shadow on the Moon during a Lunar Eclipse, that’s basically it.
