Why the contradiction in bible about Judas Iscariot`s death?
One account tells one part of the story and another account focuses on some other part of the story but all of it together tells the whole story. Probably his body would have hung there long enough to start to decay and when the rope broke it would be easy for the body to split open. Judas returned the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders who had given it to him in the first place. After that he went out and hanged himself and the chief priests took the silver pieces and said “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because they are blood money.” The chief priest took the money and bought a potter’s field with it where they could bury strangers.
