Why the change to restrict access to only those with Winthrop University I.D. cards?
As a security measure, a Winthrop University identification card or a scheduled appointment is required to enter Dacus Library. The University analyzed a number of different security measures for the safety of the Winthrop University students, faculty and staff. This is another example of initiatives to maintain and enhance safety and security on campus.
